Aviesan’s Institute of Health Technologies, with the support of numerous French and Brazilian partners have organised a Franco-Brazilian forum on the use of health technologies which should facilitate the access to care for the most vulnerable populations. Areas covered included imaging, drug development, biomaterials and e-health.
This event, was held in São Paulo on 19 and 20 October 2015 in the premises of the Butantan Institute, for researchers involved in the development of health technologies, and for biotech companies in the field. The Forum was organised around scientific
presentations and round table discussions for the purpose of sharing
research projects and identifying the regulatory, societal and financial
issues that permit innovation in the area of these
technologies.
Poster sessions have enabled the initiation or
strengthening of interactions between academics and biotech
companies in both countries.
