More about Aviesan

Let us present our organization AVIESAN and the way it is involved in improving health in emergent countries!

Set up in April 2009, the French National Alliance for Life Sciences and Health (Aviesan) brings together the main stakeholders of life and health sciences in France. Among our partners, some are deeply engaged in the research conducted in the South: the Pasteur Institutes, the Institute of Research for Development (I.R.D.) and the French national agency on AIDS; some have established few but strong collaboration: the French Institute for health and medical research (Inserm) and the French National center for scientific research (CNRS). Finally, Aviesan has set up a specific body dealing with issues related to the IP of products or devices designed with and for low-income countries, named CVT-Sud (Consortium de valorisation et de transfert spécialisé dans les technologies du Sud).
